Mr. Bob Chen founded Ming Hong International in 1995 to pursue his passion in gourmet Asian foods. After a 20-year stint as captain onboard transoceanic merchant marine ships, he decided to turn his well-traveled world knowledge and a love for Japanese/Asian cuisine into a successful food wholesale business. Under his leadership, the company upholds the core values of product quality, mutual benefit, and customer satisfaction.

He spent countless hours at the factory to perfect the product to the customer’s specification. Ming Hong International has holding interest in several factories around the globe. Our worldwide sourcing network imports premium quality food products only from those manufacturers in compliance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point) regulations and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and the warehouse also operates strictly according to HACCP. All these measures ensure product quality and safety through out its supply chain.
